Bath Parade on July 4th

This was a beautiful day in Bath for the Heritage Day parade. Cindy Doucette, Mrs. Maine International 2008 was in the parade who is seen here as well as Jamie Cannon, Mrs. Maine America 2008 who I didn't get a picture of.
Casco Bay Ford generously donated the use of this beautiful Mustang, California Special for the day and my husband was able to be my driver. He was pretty happy and looked great driving it too. Thank you Casco Bay ford for your generosity.

Sweetser Annual Auction Fundraiser Banquet

My husband Bob and I were invited to join
Sweetser at their Annual Auction Fundraiser and Dinner. I was also asked to model a beautiful 4 carat yellow diamond that was being raffled off that evening. We were both so honored and had such a wonderful time and made some great friends in the process. They raised a substantial amount of money to help many children be able to attend summer camps throughout the State.

Red Cross Heroes Breakfast and Awards Ceremony

This was an awards breakfast for
The Red Cross to honor people
in the State who have done
something that has helped others
in some way. There were many who
were honored and recognized for thier everyday achievments that have changed peoples lives or have gone out of thier way to save lives. It was an incredible morning. I was honored to be asked to open with singing the National Anthem. I stepped out of my comfort zone, which I have challenged myself to do throughout my reign. I did O.K. but my nerves got the most of me. I haven't sang in public in almost 20 years. I don't think I will do it again but I am glad I did it, mostly to say I did. It was a great honor and touching to see such wonderful people like you and I be honored.
