This parade was very wet. You can't tell here because the rainhadn't started yet, but you can see the dark clouds in the background rolling in. We were hoping the storm would hold off until after the parade, but it started the same time the parade did. We still participated but with the top up on the car. I'm sure the dealer who donated the beautiful car that seem to have been my special car for parades appreciated me keeping the inside of the car dry. Some of the other Queens that were there such as Kristin Korda, Miss Teen Maine 2008, who is in the picture with me and some of the Peter Pan kids from the float nest to us. Poor kids were all wet, but still had a great time. There were still an amazing amount of people watching the parade. I still got soaked just from hanging out the window waving to everyone. This was also the night before I left for Las Vegas and still had to finish packing. It was still fun, all the parades were.
